First House Project: Where were most houses purchased and who are the beneficiaries

121 Moldovans have already purchased houses using the First House program, launched at the Government's initiative.
When the program only launched, banks offered credits worth nearly 59 million lei, while the state guaranteed half of this amount. The contracts signed to this points have reached nearly 68 million lei.
Data also shows that most houses were purchased in Chisinau - 89 and Balti - 21. Four houses were acquired in Rascani and three in Cahul. Two apartments each were bought in Comrat and Ungheni.
The average size of the sold apartments is of 59 square meters. The biggest house being of 136 square meters, while the smallest of 24.
91 of the beneficiaries are families and 30 are not married.
The average age of those who applied to the program is 31 years old. The youngest applicant being only 23-year-old, while the oldest 44-year-old. People who wish to apply to the First House project can request a loan to one million lei.
The down payment is of 10%, by 3 times less than in an ordinary mortgage loan.
