Two thieves were arrested by police for stealing multiple automotive batteries. The suspects, of 19 and 25 years old, from Chişinău and Ceadâr-Lunga, were noticed on a street from Ciocana sector, behaving suspiciously.

After searching their vehicle, officers managed to discover automotive batteries.

The young men confessed of having stolen them from three cars in Ciocana sector, wishing to sell them afterward.

The suspects are being investigated and if found guilty risk a fine between 32 500 and 67 000 lei, 180 to 240 hours of unpaid community service or to spend the next 4 years behind bars.
