Today is the World Day of Blood Donor. In Chisinau, Balti and Cahul there were organized many places to collect the blood. These will be opened between 9 AM and 3 PM.

Among the ones who donate blood there are also the soldiers, officers and students of the Chisinau Military Academy.

The deputies will also donate blood.

It is for the second year when the deputies donate blood in the Stefan cel Mare Public Garden.

Yearly, 25 000 Moldovans need blood.

The World Donor's Day is celebrated since 2005, when the World Health Organization supported the blood donation.
