This afternoon, a 13-year-old boy drowned in Răut River. The incident took place in Brăviceni village, while the boy and his 15-year-old sister were swimming, wrote regional.md

The children went to swim at around 13:00 local time. The boy has supposedly climbed the pipeline through which channel waters are directed to Răut. After jumping into the water, the boy did not surface. His sister run back to the village to get help.

Villagers claim that the place where the boy drowned is over two meters deep.
