Sewage and water bills will remain unchanged in the Capital. National Agency for Energy Regulation has rejected the suggestion to increase the prices by 10%.

Therefore, citizens of Chisinau will continue to pay 10 lei and 69 bani for one cubic meter of water and sewage. Representatives of Apă Canal Chişinău were displeased by this decision.

"Apă Canal Chişinău has this right once per year, we did not requested the fees to be increased, but for the prices over 2012 to be adjusted" technical director of Apă Canal Chişinău, Anatolii Lighii, said.

Apă Canal Chişinău requested ANRE to increase water and sewage fees by 1 leu and 44 bani. The prices increased last time in May 2017, by 1 leu and 50 bani, despite the supplier having requested by one leu more.
