Family from Balti found treasure in their yard
A family from Balti found human bones and old pots in their yaed, while they were digging in order to repair their basement. Lia Tihon says that firstly, her husband didn't pay attention to the remnants.
"My husband was digging and found two pots. Then, some bones and we announced the police. Initially, we thought that the bones date since the Second World War", said Lia Tihon, resident of Balti.
The policemen came immediately to find out what did people find.
"I announced the National Archaeology Agency to dig and take the bones and the pots", said Ciprial Vladimirov, policeman.
The archaeologists say that probably these remnants belong to the German tribes who migrated on our territory. The specialists continued to dig and reveled some jewelry.
"Most probably, this skeleton belongs to a woman. Here we found a bronze fibula", said Ion Noroc, specialist within the National Archaeology Agency.
The neighbors of Tihon family are impressed about what they revealed.
"Our children say that probably we should dig and see what we find."
The pots will be restored in the museum of Balti.
