Uncertain situation at the private kindergartens. None is accredited by the Ministry of Education. The representatives of the kindergartens say that they work based on a provisionally authorization, that they receive each year. Anyway, there is no a legal framework to verify the educational process in these institutions. The problem was revealed by Ruslan Codreanu, the interim of the Capital.
"I want all of the parents to assume all the risks of these kindergartens. We don't even check the curriculum they have there", said Ruslan Codreanu, the interim of the Capital.
Rodica Gutu, the chief of the Chisinau Education Direction says that the accreditation procedure of the private kindergartens was stopped in June 2010 by the Government. It is uncertain why did they take this decision. Thus, these kindergarten have their own rules and the authorities can't intervene.
"The parents are complaining to the general direction. We even faced cases when our employees weren't allowed to go to the institution", said Rodica Gutu, the chief of the general education direction.
Also, the director of a private institution from Durlesti says that all the documents are alright.
"We are guided by the Education code and the school curriculum", said Sergiu Afanastiu, director of a private kindergarten.
The condition of the private kindergartens is uncertain, said Angela Cutasevici, the state secretary of the Education ministry. Starting March 2018, the National Agency for Education Quality is responsible of these institutions.
Because of the lack of accreditation, the number of kindergartens from the country is unknown.
