The preparation process to examine the draft entitled "Complete and unconditional withdrawal of foreign military forces from the territory of the Republic of Moldova" within the UN General Assembly was analyzed today during a meeting convoked by Prime Minister Pavel Filip.

Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, informed of the actions taken within the context of examining the draft resolution of the Republic of Moldova at point 35 on the agenda of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly "Prolonged conflicts in the GUAM area and their consequences for peace, security and international development".

This initiative was formulated by Prime Minister Pavel Filip in his speech given at UN General Assembly, on 22nd September 2017.

Debates and votes on this project will take place on 22nd June 2018, in New York. Minister of Foreign affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, was chosen to present the draft project at the UN General Assembly.
