Daniela Morari attended 7th edition of Prague European Summit
Daniela Morari, State Secretary for European integration has participated today at the 7th edition of Prague European Summit, organized by EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy and the Institute of International Relations, Prague, in cooperation with Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
During this year's summit, special attention was given to the future of the European Union, accentuating EU's perspectives in the context of the Roadmap for a more united, strong and close Union, and the EU Leadership Agenda, the Common Security and Defense Policy, EU as a global player, the post-2020 financial framework, the public perceptions in EU, Brexit etc.
Within the panel „Quo Vadis European Neighbourhood?”, Daniela Morari presented the successes of the European Neighbourhood Policy and Eastern Partnership, as well as the methods reviewing concepts in the context of both EU and regional challenges. At the same time, talks were based on implementing the Partnership's priorities by 2020.
The Summit offered a platform to speak and debate strategies for high level officials, business and academic environment, civil society from various countries on actual social, economic and political threats that EU faces in domestic and foreign policy.
