The minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection will sign a new cooperation memorandum in the filled of health and medical sciences with Bulgaria. Svelana Cebotari, the minister of Health, Labor and Social protection and Kiril Ananiev, the minister of health from Bulgaria discussed about the priorities for the development of the health system and the further cooperation.

Svelana Cebotari said she thanks the Bulgaria Government for their support.

"The modernization of the health system will happen due to the cooperation between Moldova and the European countries, among which Bulgaria", said Svetlana Cebotari.

The officials also talked about the reforms that will be implemented in order to develop the health system.

"Due to the reforms, our citizens will benefit of better services", said Svetlana Cebotari.

At his turn, Kiril Ananiev mentioned the Republic of Moldova's success in all the fields.

"Bulgaria and Moldova are in progress to develop their health system", said the Bulgarian official.

The Offices established the initiation of discussions on the signing of the Memorandum and highlighted areas of collaboration, including the development of urgent healthcare, transplantology, computerization of applied health technologies, hospital care, and drug safety.

We mention that MSMPS signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Bulgarian Ministry of Health in the field of health protection and medical sciences in the year 2000. Over the years, a number of study visits have been carried out in Bulgaria, exchange of experiences in different areas of HEALTH . At the same time, the Bulgarian side provided support in the implementation of policies in the field.
