Our's country's endeavor at the UN proves the current Government's political courage. At the same time, bringing into force the resolution on the withdrawal of Russian troops made Moldova's voice to be heard. Those are the opinions of multiple political experts.

Specialists claim that, due to the effort of the authorities, Republic of Moldova has sent a strong message on the international level.

"This resolution has an important significance on the international level. Republic of Moldova has never before used the UN General Assembly to make such a strong statement, supported by the majority of UN members. It has a strong influence on the image and a clear position of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova" Director of the Resource Center for Human Rights, Sergiu Ostaf said.

Political experts consider that bringing into force the resolution will strengthen Moldova's position in the dialogue with Moscow.

"Of course this is in Republic of Moldova's favor and is an additional argument in our discussions with Russia regarding the withdrawal of the Russian military and ammunition and, of course, talks on the political settlement of the conflict with Transnistria" political expert, Corneliu Ciurea said.

At the same time, ex-presidential adviser and former deputy Vlad Darie believes that Filip's Government is a premiere in the country's contemporary history.

On Friday, the UN General Assembly approved the draft resolution forwarded by Republic of Moldova and another seven states on the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Moldova. The document received 64 votes in favor and 15 against.
