The President of the Action and Solidarity Party welcomes the UN resolution on the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
Although she admitted that the initiative was good, Maia Sandu nevertheless appeared skeptical about Moscow's compliance with the provisions of the document.
"It's a good resolution, but unfortunately I do not think it will happen anyway, because we have seen resolutions. Russia always chooses to do what it wants", said Maia Sandu, president of PAS.
Instead, the leader of the Dignity and Truth Party, Andrei Nastase, didn't coment on the subject.
"What do you think about the UN resolution, Mr. Nastase?"
The UN General Assembly adopted the draft resolution tabled by our country on the withdrawal of the Russian troops from the territory of Moldova. The document calling on Moscow to conclude this process as soon and unconditionally received 64 votes in favor, 15 against and 83 didn't vote at all.
