According to Candu, the current situation does not offer a single advantage to the governance.

"I am concerned over the way things are unfolding in the case of the mayoral elections from Chisinau. My colleagues have already expressed their opinions regarding this situation. I only wish to remind the base of any investigation - who is it for? Give me at least one argument what PDM gains from this situation. As we, along with colleagues, cannot find a single advantage in this situation, no matter how hard we look. We are blamed for not stepping in for Năstase, for Usatîi, for Șor's candidate and many others.
