Progresses made to improve the research and innovation field in the Republic of Moldova, as well as adhering to European standards were appreciated at Brussels.

Furthermore, European Union promised to support Moldovan researches in adhering to international projects and programs.

The statement was made by European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, Carlos Moedas, who met with Minister of Education, Culture and Research, Monica Babuc, who is currently on a visit to Brussels.

The officials spoke of the cooperation perspectives between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union in the field, while Monica Babuc requested foreign experts to perform expertise and assessments.
