Dozens of children are attending summer schools, studying mathematics, English and French from morning to evening, while their parents are at work.

The classes begin at 09:00 and end at 17:00 local time.

A private lyceum from Chisinau has left its doors open for pupils during summer. Where 17 primary school students are attending classes.

The children love the program.

"Which school do you like, the normal or the summer one? -The summer school, because there are no grades and we get to go outside." 

Most parents are giving their children to summer school because they are busy, while others because they wish the children to be better prepared for the new semester.

"They bring the children here to know that they have fun, are safe and are studying. Children need to learn all the time, even during vacation" summer school director, Tatiana Calistru said.

Because it is summer, children are also enjoying the weather outside. They participate in various activities, going to excursions.

Another summer school from Chisinau, are offering to children to study finances, along with ordinary classes.

For 10 days, parents will have to spend from 2 100 lei to 3 500 lei. The package includes meals.
