Igor Dodon, the Preident of Moldova believes that PPDA leader Andrei Năstase deliberately violated the electoral legislation to be removed from the race since the first round of the local elections. Năstase's goal was to victimize himself. Moreover, the head of the country thinks that the protests Nastase organized have no meaning, because these have no finality. The statements were made during the President's activity report for one and a half mandate. Dodon said he will not join the rally with Maia Sandu and Andrei Nastase, because it won't have an end.
"What kind of protests are these? We protest a little bit, then we go to the sea, then we come again." What is the target? Is the objective to do justice to the mayor's office or is the aim to raise the wave for parliamentary elections? to raise the tide, and I think that Nastase and Maia dint't win the City Hall elections", said Igor Dodon.
The head of state says the protesters' leaders are unhappy with the reforms that have implemented them all.
"Now I see the pictures that people have left the country between 2015 and 2018. Who closed the schools to leave the children from the villages? And they call the red plague? I want to remind you: the blue, I will not be you, the yellow and the green you have been to the government", said Igor Dodon, the President of the country.
Igor Dodon considers that it is convenient for Andrei Năstase not to have been called in the mayor office, because the only objective he has is to victimize himself in order to reach the Parliament.
"The fact that one of the candidates, Năstase, violated the law, I believe that this is obvious, I think he did it on purpose. He understood that he did not win, he believed he did not win the election, and did it on purpose still the first round, hoping that he will be excluded and victimized. If there was a violation, Ion Ceban had to go through him.She repeated elections", said Igor Dodon, President.
Igor Dodon does not rule out the fact that he will participate in the parliamentary elections, but he will only do it on the PSRM lists.
"We have two solutions: we have a parliamentary majority that works with the president or we change the form of government in the presidential state", said Igor Dodon, the President.
Igor Dodon was invested as President of the country on December 23, 2016.
