IMF's deputy director held meeting with Pavel Filip: Discussions with Chisinau are easy and pleasant, because Moldova made a great effort to implement the IFM's program
"It is a pleasure for me to come in the Republic of Moldova. The discussions with the Chisinau authorities are easy and pleasant, because they make efforts to implement the IMF program", declared Anthony De Lannoy, the deputy director of the IMF within his meeting with Pavel Filip.
The prime minister showed Modlova's gratitude to the IMF for allocating the third tranche worth 33,7 million USD. "The attitude and our relationship with the IMF are more important than the money", said Pavel Filip.
The chief of the Government mentioned that due to the IMF, they managed to launch the relationship with the foreign partners and the implementation of a reform agenda. "Due to the efforts made by the Republic of Moldova, we will have a strong banking system and strong partners as EBRD and Banca Transilvania. Even if not all the spheres reached the required results, we will do it."
The prime minister highlighted the thing that our country offers a special attention to the IMF program and it is focused on implementing reforms.
"We have the desire and the required capacity to implement the reforms agenda. We have proven this through the economic growth, the new jobs we created and the social projects that we have launched. For example, First House and First House 2, the meal tickets or Good Roads for Moldova projects", mentioned Pavel Filip.
Anthony De Lannoy thanked the Republic of Moldova authorities for the cooperation and encouraged the officials to continue the reforms. The official mentioned that the IMF is an economic organization, not a political one and they appreciate our country due to its results.
