First HOUSE project more accessible. Sergiu Sarbu: People who own inherited houses in Chisinau can apply to the project
First House project will be affordable for many people. The Parliament voted in the second lecture a project of law to allow the persons who own a flat in Capital.
"Previously, only the people who owned a house in a village could have applied to the project, but now, even people who own a flat in the Capital can apply to the First House project", said Sergiu Sarbu, PDM deputy.
Another modification targets the owners of small houses and each of the family members has no more than nine square meters. Initially, this surface was six square meters. The authors of the project say that these changes were necessary, because the First House project is more and more popular.
"More and more people apply to this program. So, this is why we decided to change it a little bit. Now, it is more convenient", said Sergiu Sarbu, PDM deputy.
At the First House project launched by the Government can apply the citizens under 45 years, who have an official job and don't have any mortgages. The salary of the applicants should be at least two times higher than the monthly interest rate and the state pays 50% of the loan. The cost of the house should not be higher than one million lei and the interest rate is 10% of the price. Now, the Government launched the First House 2 project for the budgetary workers.
