51 students from the country participate at Energel summer school
Even if they are so young, they already know different ways to obtain energy. The young inventors of Energel summer school use the most unusual ways and materials. Here you can see wind turbines of used plastic, solar collectors of mirrors, eco irrigation systems.
Catalin and Diana from Hoginesti village, Calarasi district made a system of bio heating. The utensils cost over ten thousand lei. But, the ones who will buy it won't have to spend money on fuel.
This heating collector can be used in any household. Due to it, you can heat three liters of water in only five minutes.
The 51 students from the country who came to Energel summer camp had won a republican contest.
"The renewable energy is very important for the EU. We should understand how important is the energy for us", said Marco Gemmer, the chief of the EU delegation in Moldova.
"This project targets to use different sources of energy, to reduce the pollution", said Dafina Gercheva, ONU coordinator in Moldova.
The guests prepared a surprise for the pupils.
Starting the next year, this project will be leaded by the Agency for Energy Efficiency.
The Energel summer school was opened within Energy and Biomass project financed by the EU and implemented by PNUD and has a budget of 9,5 million Euro.
