The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research announced the Baccalaureate exams results. 

This year, over 18 thousand candidates wrote the exams.

A single student tried to cheat.

At the same time, the number of requests to check the paper once again. After being examined, the number of graduates who passed is almost 64 percent.

Almost 18% of the candidates did not agree with the grade given to one of the subjects. According to the National Agency for Curriculum and Evaluation, after the announcement of the preliminary results, about 11 000 complaints were filed. The majority of the requests were applied on Romanian Language- 2 659, History - 2 033, English - 1 630, Geography - 1 495, Math - 1 360 and at the other objects less than 1 000.

The number of requests is less, in comparison with the previous years.

The Math profile students had a result of 7,44, which is better if compared to the previous years.

I want to thank everybody for their effort and congratulate the graduates for their success", said Anatol Topala, the director of the National Agency for Education.

The additional baccalaureate session will be held between July 16 and 23 and the final results will be announced on August 1st.
