Monica Babuc, the minister of Education, Culture and Research held a meeting with Rosa María Sánchez-Yebra Alonso, the vice director of the Social Development Bank in Europe.
At the beginning of her activity, Monica Babuc appreciated the partnership between the Republic of Moldova and the Social Development Bank in Europe, as it brought benefits to the both sides.
"I consider that the project implemented due to the support of the Bank and the potential that we need to harness in such spheres as: education, carrer and so on. I am convinced that the mutual cooperation will help us gain good results", declared the official.
At her turn, Rosa María Sánchez-Yebra Alonso the vice governor of the Social Development Bank in Europe showed her availability to initiate new projects in education.
Now, the Social Development Bank in Europe contributes to the foundation of social projects in the main spheres: strengthening social integrity, especially by offering assistance to the immigrants and refugees, managing the environment and so on.
In this context, we mention that since the Republic of Moldova adheration to CEB in 1998 many projects were implemented, among which: the renovation and reconstruction of the Republican Hospital, social houses for the poor, a new prison in Chisinau, purchasing of ambulances etc.
We remind that Rosa María Sánchez-Yebra Alonso, the vice governor of the Social Development Bank in Europe is in an official visit to the Republic of Moldova between July 11 and 12.
