While some people collect books, coins or other objects, Dumitru Tataru from Sadova collects wine. 

He was a teacher at a professional school. Now, he talks with a lot of passion about his collection. He can endlessly talk about each bottle and its history. He has wine from all over the world. He knows who gave him the bottles and why.

His passion comes from long ago.

"When my youngest child was accepted at the university I took a bottle and then, I started to buy wine when something significant was happening. I have gathered 40 bottles. When our guests were coming I was opening the bottles. When I reached ten bottles, I started to keep those."

He wasn't only keeping the bottles, but also buying new ones. So, his  collection reached 2029 bottles.

He remembers the time wasted on searching for new flavors.

His wife, Viorica supported his hobby.

"She was very glad when I was bringing the bottles. She supported me and my hobby", said Dumitru Tataru.
