Andrian Candu: Electoral legislation will be analyzed in order to avoid any misunderstandings at the future elections
The Parliamentary judicial commission analyzed the electoral legislation in order to find solutions that would avoid the further invalidation of the elections. The statement was announced by Andrian Candu, the President of the Parliament.
According to Candu, the judicial commission will present a final report and some recommendations by the end of September.
"We know that there is a problem, we have the instance decision that proves it. On the one side, we should obey the decision of the instance, because it is a law, but on the other side, here we are talking about a political decision, that damaged the images of the Government, the Democratic Party and most important, the image of Moldova.
This subject is very eloquent in the last weeks and it is worth analyzing. We should analyze the subjects regarding the legislation and the silence day.
The Parliament supported the initiative to request the Judicial Commission to the subject in the following 60 days. We are waiting for a report by the end of September.
We should be aware of the thing that the parliamentary elections are about to come and we should solve this issue", said Andrian Candu, the President of the Parliament.
