Due to the Developed Agriculture in Moldova, the strawberries from the North America raise in Donduseni.

Angela Bejenari has a three ha plantation of strawberries. The woman says that the new kind of strawberries will make their products more diverse.

The woman paid 35 thousand lei for 1500 plants and the costs of the irrigation system were covered by USAID. 

"I had great feelings when the plants appeared", said Angela Bejeanari, farmer.

The woman hopes she will export the production.

The USAID representatives say that the project is valuable for our farmers.

"This project targets to support the agricultural sector of the Republic of Moldova, through investments and modern technology. The farmers will learn to raise the productivity and will be able to export the goods", said Vasile Munteanu, USAID manager.

If the plant will get used to our environment, it will be included in the national register.
