The residents of Colonita want their mayor back. A group of villagers want Angela Zaporojan to come back in office.

The decision was taken at the General Meeting of the village. People accuse the liberal party members for not working in the village's benefit. 

"Mrs. Zaporojan did a lot for the village. Since she is a mayor she did many good things for us. We want to have a beautiful village."

The villagers voted a resolution to sent the President of the Parliament and the prime minister.

"We should call them persona non grata. Before, we have the proposal to cooperate. Also, we want Andrian Candu and Pavel Filip to get involved in the issues of the village", said Angela Zaporojan, the dismissed mayor of Colonita.

The liberal advisers, among whom Dumitru Ghimpu, a relative of Mihai Ghimpu didn't comment on the situation.

Recently, the Court of Appeal condemned Angela Zaporojan for destroying the church's fence.

She was obliged to pay a 8000 lei fine and lost the right to hold any public offices for four years. Even if the decision of the Court of Appeal was not a final one, the local advisers decided to dismiss her.
