Starting this summer, 99 kindergartens out of 159 stopped their activity. On July 16, 15 kindergartens started to work again, as these were closed to be repaired. Thus, now, 75 kindergartens work.
At the same time, the repair works of the institutions were realized on a percentage of 40. The information was presented by the leading of the General, Culture, Youth and Sport Direction at the City Hall session.
Rodica Gutu, the DGECTS chief declared that all the institutions started to repair their kitchens, bathrooms, the ACs, the roof, the sewerage and the heating system.
What about the overhaul, the state budget alloAcated over 18 million lei. At this time, 44,56% of the work was already realized. At the same time, other 25 million lei were allocated too.
Rodica Gutu mentioned that in the past ten years the allocations to develop the infrastructure of the education institutions raised by 6,5%. At the same time, during the year additional sums of money are allocated for other costs.
As a solution, DGECTS wants to increase the allocation for the educational institutions.
Ruslan Codreanu, the interim of the Capital said that the lack of money is not the only problem of these institutions. The mayor says that after he paid visits to the educational institutions he found out that the money are not correctly spent. Ruslan Codreanu said that he receives many complains of the parents who say that the director or the tutors make them gather between 500 and 2000 lei for the repair works of the institutions. According to him, the parents don't know about the money amount these institutions receive yearly.
In another order, the interim declared that he will index the salary of the education employees by 500 lei. In Chisinau there are 150 pre school institutions who host 38 thousand children.
