A road portion from Veronica Micle street from the Center of the Capital was decorated with flowers and benches today.

The action targets to provide comfortable conditions for the pedestrians and to make impossible the illegally parking in the zone. The initiative belongs to the Directorate-General Housing and Public Works.

Vasile Efros, the chief of sanitation and public works department said that the benches and the vases take part of the urban furniture. According to him, the zone was full of illegally parked cars. In some cases, these were parked even on the sidewalk.

Vasile Efros also said that the road signed in this zone will also be changed. Also, the cross walk will be repaired. The costs of this project reach 30 thousand lei.

We remind that a month ago, the Directorate-General Housing and Public Works arranged benches and flowerbeds in the perimeter between 31 august 1989 and Stefan cel Mare boulevard. Previously, the Cehov square was arranged.
