The persons who hold public offices within the public local authorities or the APL employees will receive higher salaries. The Government approved the law regarding the salary system within the budgetary sector.

Thus, the mayors, vice-mayors, presidents and deputy-presidents of districts, branches, vice branches will receive additional money worth 50% to their salary. As a result, the average salary is 6 135 and will be 9 200 lei.

The salaries of the employees who take care of the technical service and good functioning of local public authorities will raise by 1 190 lei.

The amount of incentive payments will be determined by the LPA management, depending on the means available for this purpose in the budgets of the local public authorities.

The necessary sum to pay the new salaries if 5,5 million lei.
