Cooperation in security and joint defense have been the subjects of a meeting between US Ambassador to the United States, Cristina Balan and US Congressman Steve Russell. The Head of Moldovan diplomat wrote on her Facebook page the result of meeting. 

She showed gratitude for the meeting with a strong ally of Moldova and mentioned that she had a productive discussion on strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries. In conclusion, Cristina Balan said she appreciated the support of Congressman Russell.
