Balti city continues to drown in trash. The trash lays all around the city.
"There are a lot of mice here. Soon, the rats will appear. The smell is terrible. It is impossible to stay here."
"I have been working here for three years, but we have never faced such a situation before."
Nicolai Grigorisin, the mayor of Balti asked the Government to help them solve this situation.
"This land is managed by Biliceni and Tambula villages. The Government should allocate the required sum from the state budget to help up deal with this problem", said Nicolai Grigorisin, the mayor of Balti.
Dumitru Rusnac, the manager of the land refused to comment on the Government's decision.
The crisis of the trash from Balti started in December 2017, after the local authorities decided to cancel the contract with the company responsible on this subject.
The Government got involved and cleaned the city in three days. Dozens of workers from Chisinau gathered over 1 000 cubic meters of trash.
