Cristina Balan, the US Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova invited Tim Scott to be a member of the friendship parliamentary group USA-Moldova.

The proposal was launched within a meeting of the officials.

The chief of the Moldovan diplomacy to Washington mentioned that Scott has a dynamic activity, he is a promoter of many reforms in South Carolina and we need such people in the friendship groups.

Tim Scott was called in office of South Carolina senator in 2013. The friendship group Moldova Caucus was launched one year ago in order to strengthen the relationship between Moldova and the USA.
