A 39 year old man was wounded by a car while crossing the street illegally. The accident took place on Chisinau-Hancesti highway. The eyewitness say that everything took place really fast and they didn't notice the impact.

"I just saw a man down there", said an eyewitness.

"I didn't see anything", said an eyewitness.

The doctors of the Emergency Institute say that the victim was drunk. 

"The patient is in a grave condition. We suspect cranio-cerebral trauma and fracture of the basin's bones. The possible patient is intoxicated and we can not say whether he is in a coma or not", said Vasile Saugur, guard doctor at the Emergency Medicine Institute.

The policemen opened an investigation.

"It has been establish that a man aged 44 hit a pedestrian. We started an investigation to establish all the circumstances of the case", said Alexandru Raileanu, press officer of IP Ialoveni.

The driver risks a fine of 1500 lei and six penalization points. The punishment will be establish in accordance with the wounds caused to the victim.
