Repatriation of six Moldovans who died in Kaluga accident costs will be covered by Government

This morning, Prime Minister Pavel Filip has set up a crisis cell to provide all necessary support to those involved in the road accident near the Kaluga region, Russian Federation. This includes representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the General Police Inspectorate, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations.
The Prime Minister has asked IGSU that a team of specialists should travel to the Russian Federation to support the wounded, but also to help with the repatriation of the corpses. Therefore, today 4 IGSU employees go to the Russian Federation for this purpose.
At the same time, Pavel Filip asked the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Moscow to make sure that the traumatized have the necessary care, and if their condition is grave, IGSU will provide their transportation home with the SMURD crew. Employees of the embassy went at the place of the accident, but also at the hospital where the wounded have been hopitalized who have already been identified.
