New Russia Ambassador to Republic of Moldova to start activity soon
The new ambassador of the Russian Federation to Moldova, Oleg Vasnetov gave the accreditation letters to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Chisinau.
Within a meeting, Mihail Capatina, the general state secretary of Foreign Affairs and the Russian official made an exchange of opinions about the ways to develop the bilateral relationship.
The Ambassador will start the mandate after he will present the original letters of accreditation to Igor Dodon. Vasneţov succeeded Farit Muhametşin, whose mandate expired this year. The new representative of Russia has been active in the last nine years at the Moscow Foreign Ministry.
Between 1996 and 2000, he was advisor to the Russian ambassador to France. Between 2003 and 2008 he was the head of the Russian diplomatic mission in Congo. The Russian official, 64, speaks French, English and Bulgarian languages and is delegated to the Republic of Moldova for six years.
