Chisinau City Hall informs that the director of the No.53 kindergarten from Center sector of the Capital was fired.

The decision was taken after a sudden control at the institution, made by the inspectors of the Education, Young and Sport Direction. The control was initiated after the parents who go to this kindergarten asked for.

The control established, among other things, that in August 2017, money was collected in the institution for the disposal of garbage following the roof repair works, although these works were carried out by an economic agent. It was also found that the organization of the process of feeding the children in the institution does not meet the nutrition requirements in accordance with the model menu approved by the Public Health Center and coordinated by the Sector Education Department.

At the same time, during May-June 2018, children attending the kindergarten were fed a lower norm than the norm approved by the Chisinau Municipal Council. At the same time, expired medications were found in the medical cabinet.
