200 and 500 euros, this is how much costed two Romanian identity cards with fake indices. The intention to get legalized on the Belgian territory with these documents was revealed to them by border guards at the Leuşeni crossing point.

Several unclear signs on identity cards, which would be issued by the Romanian authorities, were found during the checks. The first 27-year-old Moldovan citizen, said he did not know about the fake of the act, mentioning that he had been in possession of it for seven months now for the sum of 200 Euro through an unknown person.

Employment in the European Union was the reason why the second 28-year-old man turned to the help of a foreigner, gradually giving him 500 euros. The latter promised to reschedule the Romanian ID as a matter of urgency.

Their papers were sent for expertise, and the youngsters continued their journey.

The people involved are liable to a fine of up to 650 contravention units or community work from 150 to 200 hours or up to 2 years of imprisonment.
