A resident of Brânzeni village, Edinet district, is being investigated by Border Police employees for raising cannabis plantations. The man was detained while taking care of this plant.
The 63-year-old man was fired by border guards. He was surprised while arranging three special places where cannabis was growing. Finally, 80 green plants were broken, reaching each height of about 150 cm.
Subsequently, searches took place at the man's home. In his household there were found plants, equally well cared for.
"The farmer" said the cannabis plant was raised for personal consumption.
Border guards continue to examine the case under all legal aspects in order to determine the circumstances of the unlawful act committed.
At the same time, the plants have been sent to expertise until a decision is made on the case where the person is investigated in a state of freedom.
