More money to repair kindergartens. This year, 49 million lei were allocated from the municipal budget for various works in preschool institutions. The amount is four times higher than in the previous years.

However, according to the Mayor of Bucharest, 36 million lei are needed to complete the work. "If we are to take on categories: on the title sheet there were 20 million lei, by Mayor's order allocation of 25 million lei for May, today I will sign a provision for the distribution of another 8.6 million for priority repairs in the educational institutions and 3.5 million lei were allocated for illumination of kindergartens", said the interim of the Capital, Ruslan Codreanu.

Ruslan Codreanu announced two or three kindergartens will be reopened on September 15, because the workers do not succeed to finish the repair works in time.

In 2015, for the repair works in kindergartens was allocated 13 million lei. In 2016 it was 700 000 lei less. 

Last year, 15.4 million lei was spent to repair the kindergartens.

Totally, there are 159 kindergartens in Chisinau.
