A group of PDM deputies yesterday sent letters to several state institutions of the Republic of Moldova requesting verifications and clarifications regarding the possible activities against our country, owned by Russian-Ukrainian dual citizenship Ludmila Kozlowska and the Foundation led by her, Otwarty Dialog (Open Dialog).
Meanwhile, PDM deputies have asked to investigate the links between Ludmila Kozlowska, Otwarty Dialog Foundation and PAS, PDA political parties, including possible issues related to illegal funding or benefit to the parties, but also to other Moldovan parties.
The main reasons for the petitions submitted by PDM deputies are the recent expulsion of Ludmila Kozlowska from Poland and the European Union and the extremely serious accusations against it, especially the obtaining of dubious funding from the Russian Federation and complicity with the Russian intelligence services.
In this context, Democratic MPs noted with concern the information in the national and international press, according to which Ludmila Kozlowska and the Otwarty Dialog Foundation had carried out lobbying activities for citizen Veaceslav Platon, currently convicted of financial crimes in Chisinau, which included attacks to our country and the presentation in a negative light of the Republic of Moldova to the European partners. Also, the press information shows that opposition political leaders such as Andrei Năstase and Maia Sandu know Ludmila Kozlowska and have participated in events organized abroad by her and her Foundation.
"Such things are very alarming and therefore we believe that the whole situation requires maximum attention from the state institutions and measures accordingly. It should not be admitted that the Republic of Moldova is vulnerable by persons such as Ludmila Kozlowska, possibly and with the complicity of some local politicians for which money and political advantages seem to be more important than national interest, and citizens have the right to learn all the truth about the relations between Ludmila Kozlowka and her Foundation on the one hand, and various Moldovan politicians and businessmen on the other , as well as whether these politicians and businessmen undermined or damaged the Republic of Moldova as a result of the non-transparent agreements made", pointed a PDM press release.
