On summer, the Moldovans who work abroad send more money home. In July, the amount of money sent to Moldova reached 116 million USD, which is 10% more than in the same period of 2017.

The majority of the money, 40% came from EU, followed by CSI with 31%.

The majority of the Moldovans received money from Russia. Thus, over 34 million USD were sent from Russia.

19 million USD came from Israel and over 14 million from Italy.

Over nine million USD came from the USA and 7,5 million from Germany.

The Moldovans chose to send the money in Euro, over 46%, same is in USD. The Russian RUB has 8,4%.

Between January and July over 756 million USD were sent in Moldova.
