Crowd at the customs. How long does it take to arrive on the Ukraine shore
It takes a long time for the Moldovans to arrive on the Romanian or the Ukraine shore. The customs points are very crowded. PUBLIKA TV team went to Zatoca to find out how much time does it take to arrive on the Black Sea's shore.
"It took us two hours to arrive from Chisinau to Palanca. To cross the border, the drivers need three hours. Only in the morning a crowd of 250 cars was created in the morning", said Cristina Badica, PUBLIKA TV reporter.
A man said that he started the trip at 3 AM to go to Zatoca.
"The crowd at the customs is bit. Everybody is going on a vacation now."
"We are going to Odessa."
"-We are coming from the North of Moldova. -For how many days are you leaving? -For one week. -Where are you going? -In Crutnoie, Primorsc."
According to the border police, in the last days, the number of Moldovans who leave the country increased.
Today, the cars flow is 1.500 cars. Each car is verified for 10 minutes.
"The number of border officers who operate increased. So, the activity takes place faster now", said Igor Cojocari, the deputy chief of Tudora Border Police.
Also, tents that offer the first aid were installed at the customs.
