Several schools and kindergartens from the country risk entering the new year of study without tap water or ventilation system in canteens. ANSA inspectors checked over a thousand pre-school institutions and schools and registered a number of encroaches.
According to specialists, of the approximately 1,103 kindergartens checked, only 994 units fit the requirements of the sanitary-veterinary field and are authorized.
At the same time, of the over 1,200 schools, about a thousand operate without violations.
In the case of institutions that have committed deviations, the specialists have found that workplaces and work equipment are worn out and, moreover, insufficient.
Also, some schools and kindergartens lack water supply or water heating equipment.
There is no ventilation system or spaces where children can wash their hands before having the meal.
The management of educational institutions must remove all violations by the beginning of the school year.
