On the 27th year of independence, Prime Minister Pavel Filip congratulated Moldovans with a message posted on a social networking and urged them to be better with each other, more united, so that the Republic of Moldova would be more beautiful and more united.

"We all are building independence day by day. The country, like the Independence, is not an abstract notion, the country is us, and everybody gets in. If we are better with each other, more united , more committed to what we do, the same will be the Republic of Moldova: more beautiful, better, more united.
