The demonstrations from yesterday in the center of the city have sparked various reactions from several officials. Because the demonstrators did not conform, the police forces took them to the perimeter of the Banulescu-Bodoni streets with Stephen the Great. This is the case in all civilized countries when national events are organized, according to US Ambassador to Chisinau, James Pettit.
"We are now hearing the sound of democracy, it is a normal process, and the separate protests and actions of the government, at least yesterday we saw that peaceful demonstrations were allowed." It is the most important thing", said James Pettit, US Ambassador to Moldova.
PUBLIKA.MD reminds that with the demonstrations yesterday, several opposition political parties were launched in the electoral campaign. Although some demonstrators had aggressive behavior and obscene gestures towards the people of the law, the protest was peaceful.
At the same time, according to a provision of the City Hall, there are official events planned in this area long ago, and the local public administration bears direct responsibility in case of violent incidents, unless the necessary legal measures are taken.
