Freshmen of Nicolae Testemitanu State Medicine University took student's oath within an official ceremony
The freshmen of the Nicolae Testemitanu State Medicine University took the oath of the student within an official ceremony. At the event participated the representatives of the university, the ones of the Government and the relatives of the students.
"As I became a student of the Nicolae Testemitanu State Medicine University, I swear to dedicate my life to people."
Damila Banaz dreams to be a doctor, so she will be able to save human lives.
"I dream to be a doctor since I was a child. I like this job, I will be able to help people. I have known that it will be hard from the very beginning", said Daniela Barnaz, Ist year student at General Medicine Faculty.
Girl's father says that he is proud that his daughter had chosen this profession.
"We wanted her to be a doctor. We will make everything possible to succeed", said Igor Barnaz, Daniela's father.
Other future doctors say they came at this faculty to be useful for the society.
"I understood that this is the best profession for me", said a student.
"I like medicine and all this atmosphere. I like chemistry, this is why I have chosen this profession", said Cristina Cistacova, Ist year student at Pharmacy Faculty.
The students were congratulated by the officials.
"Dear students, you need to be hard-working to succeed. Welcome to Alma Mater, dear students", said Ion Ababii, rector of Nicolae Testemitanu State Medicine University.
"You are the future of our country. We count on you", said Svetlana Cebotari, the minister of Health.
This year, 760 students were accepted at USMF.
