The garbage in the yard of a block on Tudor Vladimirescu Street in Durlesti, Chisinau, is not evacuated for more than a week, and the situation repeats itself once a year. The residents complain of unbearable smell, and parents are afraid to leave their children on the playground, because stray dogs and stray dogs run around the bays.
"We bother to smell, garbage is not taken in time We pay, but I do not take it in time I'm here dogs and flies and you want .. ..shoes .. We have two kids, we go out to play and smell.
"I have two kids, we go out to play and smell."
The tenants say they pay monthly for the sanitation service 10 lei.
"I do not want to solve the problem on Saturday, so I'm calling the association several times and nobody answers us."
But the administrator of the block blames the current private sanitation company, who would refuse to enter the block yard because of the damaged road.
"The problem is in the company that evacuates the garbage. I am now trying to solve this problem with them," said Maxim Roznovat, block administrator.
People also say the two waste containers are few for 120 apartments in the building.
"We are not indifferent, but we have to leave garbage on foot because we do not have anywhere else."
Contacted by phone, the Mayor of Durlesti, Eleonora Şaran, said that he did not know about this problem and that the city hall was not responsible in this case.
"All claims to the firm. All the conditions for the disposal of waste are written in the contract," Eleonora Şaran, mayor of the city, said.
Representatives of the private sanitation company serving the block did not answer the phone to comment on the situation.
