Vlad Plahotniuc offered ten scholarships for graduates of Prometeu Lyceum from Grozesti village, Nisporeni district
Dozens of pupils who study at the lyceum from Grozesti village, Nisporeni district received a scholarship worth 10.000 lei. The financial aid comes from Vlad Plahotniuc, for performances.
After a studying year, the ones who had good results reached their dreams. They graduated the lyceum and were accepted at the faculty they wanted. The students held a meeting with Vlad Plahotniuc and discussed about their future plans.
Some of the young decided to study abroad. Vlad Plahotniuc encouraged them to follow their dreams and aspire to more. Also, he encouraged them to come back in Moldova after they finish their studies.
"The knowledge and the experience you get there is priceless for our country. You should come here and help us change our country. We managed to change the things a little bit in the last period. What we did in a couple of years can't be done in one overnight. You will definitely manage do change the future of our country", said Vlad Plahotniuc.
Maria Munteanu has chosen to study at the Public Administration Faculty at the State University of Moldova.
"I want to change the things in our country and this is why I have chosen to study here. It is good for the politicians to contact with the society. I will follow the example of Mr. Plahotniuc", said Maria Munteanu, pupil at Prometeu Lyceum from Grozesti village, Nisporeni district.
The young were glad about the financial support their received from Vlad Plahotniuc.
"Today's meeting was great. We had the opportunity to met an extraordinary man. I didn't expect for him to be such friendly", mentioned Mihaela Spanu, pupil of Prometeu Lyceum from Grozesti village, Nisporeni district.
"Taking into consideration the thing that my parents can't afford to pay the fees, I am glad I received this support of Edelweiss foundation", said Doina Certan, former student at Prometeu Lyceum from Grozesti village, Nisporeni district.
Vlad Plahotniuc's Foundation, Edelweiss supports the young. Within a project, one hundred students from the whole country will benefit of a scholarship worth 500 lei.
