A helicopter belonging to a Moldovan company, Valan International Cargo Charter crashed near Mazar-i-Sharif military base from Afganistan.

On the board there were three members of the team, all of them Ukranians and 11 Afganistan passengers.

According to the preliminary information, offered by Civil Aeronautic Authority from Moldova, two members of the crew and ten Afganistan citizens died.

The local authorities opened a penal case to establish the circumstances of the tragedy. 

In 2015, a helicopter was captured by Taliban criminal group after it needed to land by emergency. The previous year, an airplane of the same company crashed on the Cote d`lvoire.
