Permanent Bureau of Parliament approved today, at the request of a group of Democratic Party (PD) deputies, the establishment of an Inquiry Commission to elucidate the "factual and legal circumstances of the illegal interference of the Open Dialogue Foundation" its founder, Ludmila Kozlowska, in the internal affairs of the Republic of Moldova and the illegal financing of some political parties.

The draft decision is signed by several Democratic deputies including Iurie Chiorescu, Violeta Ivanov, Angel Agachi, Anatolie Zagorodni, Sergiu Sarbu and Valentina Buliga.

The draft decision also requires all parties and persons involved to be heard in the Commission and a report should be submitted within 30 days as to whether the foundation, implicitly Ludmila Kozlowska, has been involved in the internal affairs of the Republic of Moldova and if some parties have been illegally funded through it. The authors of the project wants to see if these facts and actions "attack the national sovereignty and security of the country".

We remind that earlier deputies from the PD faction called on the state institutions, including the Intelligence and Security Service, the National Anti-Corruption Center, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Prevention and Anti-Money Laundering Service, the Central Electoral Commission to investigate the ties of several politicians and parties opposition from Moldova, including the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova, the Platform for Dignity and Truth and the Action and Solidarity Party, with the chair of the Open Dialog Foundation, Ludmila Kozlowska, who was recently expelled from Poland and the EU because would be tied to the special services in Russia.

The Party of Action and Solidarity and the Liberal Democratic Party of the Republic of Moldova rejected the accusations, noting that they had no business with this foundation.
