Singers from 10 countries will participate at Maria Biesu International Opera and Ballet Festival. The event will take place between September 7 and 16.

"I hope it will be a great festival. From my point of view, the artists are well prepared and will perform", said Nicolae Dobotaru, conductor of Maria Biesu Teater of Opera and Ballet. 

Many artists have already arrived in Chisinau and started to prepare.

"I am glad that I am participating at this event. I will sing next to other famous artists", Tso Haining, singer from Vietnam.

"Here we met a lot of talented people."

First of all, the artists will perform Macbeth opera by Giuseppe Verdi. Veantseslav Anastasov from Bulgaria will be in the main role.

"I know that in Moldova there are great singers."

Within two days, the audience will see four operas, three spectacles of ballet and a gala concert.
